Kimberly Guilfoyle, former Fox News anchor and current National Chairman of President Trump’s Finance Committee, in an enthusiastic and emotionally charged speech supported President Trump’s candidacy and denounced the Democrats and their policies as loaded with “lies and deception.”

On the first night of the Republican National Convention, Guilfoyle’s moving speech took almost six minutes. She was full of praise for the president and stressed: “In President Trump’s America we light things up, we don’t dim them down. We build things up, we don’t burn them down. We kneel in prayer and we stand for our flag.”

Guilfoyle, Donald Trump Jr.’s partner, added, “President Trump believes in you. He emancipates and lifts you up to live your American Dream. You are capable, you are qualified, you are powerful, and you have the ability to choose your life, and determine your destiny.”

In contrast, she pointed to the Democrats and their radicalized leftist policies, warning, “They want to control what you see, think and believe so they can control how you live,” she said. “They want to enslave you. They want to destroy this country and everything that we have fought for and cherished. They want to steal your freedom, your liberty.”

During her criticism of the policies of the left, she took California as the example of the socialist model that Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his running mate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) propose to transform to the whole nation. She said, “It is a place of immense wealth. Immeasurable innovation and an immaculate environment. And the Democrats turned it into a land of discarded heroin needles in parks, riots in streets, and blackouts in homes.”

Referring to her Latino heritage, she warned that if the Democrats were to be elected in November, the United States would follow in the socialist footsteps of Cuba and Venezuela.

The only way to stop that, according to Guilfoyle, would be to re-elect President Donald Trump.

She listed several of Trump’s achievements since he took office, mentioning tax cuts, the confrontation with ISIS, the renegotiation of trade agreements, his action against the illegal entry of people, and his fight against the Chinese Communist Party.

She closed by saying that Biden and Harris would “destroy” the country and “enslave” Americans with an “ideology of slavery” if elected.
