U.S. Department of Homeland Security acting Assistant Secretary Ken Cuccinelli warned that the thousands of immigrants coming from Central America pose a serious health risk to Americans.

“It is an absolute human Petri dish opportunity for the transmission of a demonstrably very transmissible virus, and then we have to worry about this new strain now,” Cuccinelli said on the Fox News “Hannity” program on Jan. 18.

Cuccinelli noted that the conditions under which they make the long journey to the border with Mexico do not allow immigrants adequate prevention and treatment conditions against the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Virus.

Likewise, Cuccinelli estimated that the wave of immigrants will be much greater than expected if the facilities promised by Democratic President-elect Joe Biden, are imposed.

As a measure of control against this threat of further spread of the CCP Virus in the country, and the other risks of uncontrolled immigration, President Donald Trump extended the border emergency until Feb. 22.

It is estimated that around 9,000 people are moving north from Central America, where a group of hundreds of people broke the resistance put up by the border agents, according to the video provided by reporter Drew Hernández on Jan. 16.

The Trump administration was able to regulate the uncontrollable flow of illegal aliens that constantly crossed the border with Mexico into the United States, leading to a series of crimes that led to the declaration of a national emergency.

The construction of hundreds of miles of border fence and an agreement with the Mexican government were part of the measures, which largely stopped the immigration of unauthorized people into the country.

President Trump visited the border when 450 miles of the wall was completed and summarized the achievements of the Border Control on Jan. 12.

On the one hand, he reported that the illegal entry of immigrants decreased by 80% to 90% through the Rio Grande Valley and Yuma, Arizona.

He also said, “We took on the cartels, the coyotes, and the special interests, and we restored the rule of law,” according to the White House report.

Among the achievements of the border control are “the seizure of over 2 million pounds of fentanyl, heroin, meth, and other deadly narcotics, saving thousands and thousands of lives.”

Also, the arrest of “nearly 500,000 illegal aliens with criminal records—some with very serious criminal records of the type you don’t want to know about, like murder,” according to President Trump.

He also said, “We removed nearly 20,000 gang members from the United States, including 4,500 members of MS-13—probably the worst gang of them all.”

Referring to this fulfilled promise on border control, President Trump reported having “achieved the most secure southern border in U.S. history.”
