It has become a war of words in the White House, as new directives look to decrease President Biden’s control in the White House.

From now on, the ‘Biden administration’ is to be referred to as the ‘Biden-Harris administration,’ according to a leaked email from a federal government agency.

Vice-president Kamala Harris is to receive equal billing as the president as language is being used to indicate her equal standing with the president.

Outspoken has revealed the leak from an employee, who says the directive has come from a high-level member of the Communications department. The instruction directed at all other agencies is to refer to the “Biden administration” as the “Biden-Harris administration.”

This move has also taken place in the official White House Twitter account with the words: “Welcome to the Biden-Harris White House!”

Of note, the previous two administrations under Obama and Trump did not have this directive.

President Trump’s Twitter account had read: “Welcome to @WhiteHouse! Follow for the latest from President @realDonaldTrump and his Administration.”

The Former Obama administration Twitter read: “Follow for the latest from President Obama and his administration.”

Instead of naming only the president, as in the past, the Biden-Harris directive now is part of all 15 executive departments, reports Outspoken.

Press releases and other communications from the Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Labor, State, Transportation, Treasury, and Veterans Affairs, and the Attorney General all only refer to the Biden-Harris Administration, replacing previous releases that named only the president.

Biden has had increasing trouble remaining lucid during his infrequent public speaking outings and often has difficulty walking as well, raising concerns about his well-being and ability to govern the country. He rarely answers any question from reporters, with his wife Jill Biden usually by his side to offer support, as he often becomes confused and seemingly in a daze.

Vice President Harris has been speaking with world leaders without the presence of Biden. She recently spoke with the prime minister of Norway, Erna Solberg, and has taken calls from French President Emanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Her participation in the first bilateral meeting between the United States and Canada was another indication of her ever-increasing takeover of duties, as previous vice presidents were not allowed to participate in the meeting.

Some leaders are worried about the recent turn of events.

“World leaders expect to hear from the President of the United States, not the Vice President,” former Ambassador to Germany and former Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell said to Outspoken. “There are certainly times when the Vice President has to step in but not for the introductory call.”

“The fact that the White House is instructing federal agencies to replace ‘Biden’ with ‘Biden-Harris’ after less than 60 days is indicative of the struggle Joe Biden already has being President,” Grenell said. “This is a signal that he can’t do the job alone.”
