You must still remember the viral White House photo showing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), offering a fiery reaction to President Trump across the table on Oct. 17. But the story here is not about President Trump or Pelosi, it’s about a photoshopped image shared by a top aide for 2020 presidential hopeful Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.).
In a tweet on the same day as the original photo, Harris’s national press secretary Ian Sams posted his own version of the image showing his candidate as the president instead.
“Time for an upgrade,” the tweet said.

The image was then widely mocked so he deleted the tweet.
Washington Examiner’s Siraj Hashmi questioned the logic behind the altered image, saying: “So you’re saying Kamala will do a better job implementing Trump’s agenda than Trump? You thought through this well.”
