Judge Jeanine Pirro was on the attack this weekend, maintaining there is no basis for the Democrats probe against President Trump. “There has never been a case in the history of this great nation when the accused is supposed to prove his innocence when the prosecution can’t even prove his guilt,” said Pirro.

Referring to House Democrats, Pirro said, “They’re so stupid that every time a crime doesn’t fit, they move to another one. Now they are thinking bribery when quid pro quo didn’t stick, the only problem with that is that bribery infers a criminal intent. There is none,” explains Pirro.

Appearing on her show, “Justice with Judge Jeannie,” Pirro laid out the impeachment inquiry for her audience, calling it the most “offensive, shocking, and shameless show ever displayed in the Congress of the U.S.”

“Imagine a group of people hate someone so much they agree to destroy him,” said Pirro.

With their last attempt to unseat President Trump a failure, Democrats decided to find someone who also hates him and agrees to file a complaint, said Pirro.

There are no rules, except for those made up by a proven liar, said the judge, referring to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.). The president is not allowed to have an attorney, nor is he allowed to have witnesses. The witnesses the Democrats bring in are relying on secondhand or thirdhand hearsay with their testimony. The whole process is a farce.

One witness who appeared at the inquiry on Friday, the former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, was relieved of her position in May—two months before the phone conversation between President Trump and the Ukrainian president, that instigated the whole probe. How could her testimony be relevant?

As Judge Jeannie explained, it is perfectly normal for a president to replace all the ambassadors and put in his preferred staff. Obama did it; Bush did it, so did Clinton. She was dismissed two months before the July 25 infamous phone call.

This witness has absolutely no relevant information. She can’t bring any firsthand knowledge of the events and was recalled from Ukraine before the call between @realDonaldTrump and Zelenskiy. Instead, she is complaining about how @POTUS lawfully removed her as ambassador.

Now the Democrats are bandying around “witness intimidation” against President Trump after Schiff read out the president’s tweet while Yovanovitch was giving her testimony. The tweet referred to her poor performance as ambassador.
White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham spoke with Pirro on the weekend, “The rules keep changing, this is why the president keeps going to Twitter and going around them.” Grisham added,” We have no rights in this whole sham, it’s horrible.”

The prosecution can’t prove the president’s guilt. They can’t figure out what he did, said Pirro.
The president has submitted the transcript of the first phone call he had with Zelenskiy, where President Trump expressed his wish to “route out corruption,” with Zelenskiy in agreement with him. It is the best evidence of his innocence and shows transparency, but the Democrats are just ignoring it.

It is not clear to onlookers what the accusation is, the president is not allowed to have witnesses, nor will he be able to confront his accuser. Hearsay is approved, and is even considered better than direct evidence by the Democrats, explained Pirro.

“Look, if you’re a trial attorney, you look at these hearings, and you say to yourself, ‘Are they kidding?’ Are these people really thinking that the American people are that stupid?” said Pirro. “It’s not even hearsay. It’s double and triple hearsay by people who have a hostile attitude toward the president. They’re not going to admit it.”

Pirro told Fox that the Democrats’ case for the probe is based on no substantial criminal evidence, and “When you’re dealing with foreign relations, you have the right to expect something in return to condition the money.”

Pirro had an ominous warning words for the American public, “Imagine it is you they are after.”
