Former Vice President Joe Biden, along with his running mate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), appeared on CNN and spoke with host Jake Tapper. Biden claimed he has no significant “moral” disagreements with Harris. But then he stated something rather shocking.
When asked by Tapper if he had a strategy for handling any disagreements, he replied, ‘When we disagree so far it has been like when Barack and I did, it’s in private she’ll say ‘I think we should do A, B, C, and D,” and I’ll say “I like A and I don’t like B and C” and it’s ok,” as reported by The Blaze.
Then came the rather strange comment, “But like I told Barack, if I reach something where there is a fundamental disagreement that we have, based on a moral principle, I’ll develop some disease and say I have to resign.’”
That begs the question, “Who is actually intending to run the country?”
Biden often suffers from ‘foot in mouth disease’ but might have to tone it down a bit for a while, after he suffered a broken foot last week, and will be required to wear an air boot for several weeks.
So, how did the unfortunate accident happen? He was playing with his German shepherd rescue dog, Major.
According to Biden, “What happened was I got out of the shower. I got a dog, and anybody who’s been around my house knows—dropped, little pup dropped a ball in front of me, and for me to grab the ball,” Biden explained.
“And I’m walking through this little alleyway to get to the bedroom, and I grabbed the ball like this, and he ran,” Biden continued. “And I’m joking, running after him and grab his tail. And what happened was that he slid on a throw rug, and I tripped on the rug he slid on.”
“That’s what happened,” Biden said. “Oh, man! not a very exciting story.”
It could only happen to Biden that way. At 78, he is perhaps a bit fragile and would be better suited to more sedate activities.
