Joe Biden’s accuser is willing to testify under oath regarding her sexual assault allegation against Biden as more and more evidence comes forward supporting her credibility.
During an interview with Fox News, Tara Reade slammed the media and leaders of #MeToo for keeping silent over her accusation against Biden and turning sexual harassment and assault into a partisan issue.
“Why have you made sexual assault and sexual harassment a partisan issue?” Reade asked. “Why aren’t you looking at the veracity of my claim, looking at that I’m willing to go under oath, that I made a police report, that I worked for Joe Biden?”
“You should be able to have your voice heard without losing your career and losing your job. And that’s what your whole mission is about. Why do I not qualify for your mission?” she continued. “Why, because my perpetrator is the leading Democrat? Why does that exempt me from help?”
In March, Reade accused Biden of sexually assaulting her while she served as an aide in his Senate offices in early 1990s. Biden has vigorously denied the charge and declined to address Reade’s allegations.
Reade has also called on Biden to release documents pertaining to his time in the Senate during which Biden’s alleged misconduct occurred.
“Joe Biden, I want you to release all the personnel records from 1973 to 2009 and be transparent about your office practices,” Reade told the Daily Caller. “I would like to hold you accountable for what happened to me, to how your staff protected you and enabled you, bullied me multiple times into silence.”
“I want this brought to light and I want you to admit it in public,” Reade said. “I want a public apology for calling me a Russian agent and having other people try to smear my character in order to cover your crimes.”
The University of Delaware that possesses a trove of Biden’s Senate papers initially said it expected to make the records “available to the public two years after Biden’s last day in elected public office,” but changed its mind just hours before Biden announced his 2020 White House bid.
However, Business Insider revealed on Thursday that Biden’s campaign sent operatives to the University of Delaware’s library in 2019 to rifle through his records there. Notably, numerous women have come forward to accuse Biden of sexual misconduct over the past few years.
According to Fox News, numerous top officials on the board of the University of Delaware have close personal and financial ties to Biden with at least seven other members of the university’s board of trustees having heavily donated to Biden’s political campaigns.
As pressure is mounting on Biden’s campaign to release records that could potentially shed light on Reade’s allegations, the University of Delaware on Thursday said they still have no plans to make them public.
