White House chief of staff Mark Meadows says, “It’s time for people to go to jail” in the case of the false collusion with Russia perpetrated by Democratic lawmakers against President Donald Trump.
Appearing on Fox News on July 19, Meadows said, “I expect accusations based on the evidence I’ve seen. Lindsey Graham did a good job of bringing that out into the open. We know that not only did they know there was no case, but they continued to investigate and spy.”
Meadows referred to declassified documents filed by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) that discredit the file by former British spy Christopher Steele on which the Democrats’ investigation was based. “Everything is starting to unravel, and I’m telling you it’s time for people to go to jail and for people to be charged,” Meadows added.
U.S. Attorney General William Barr appointed United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut John Durham to investigate the origins of the investigation into the alleged collusion with Russia and the actions of those involved.
Also, Richard Grenell, the former acting director of national intelligence, recently pointed out Steele’s file’s inaccuracy.
To reinforce suspicions of irregularities characterizing the Democratic-sponsored investigation into the Trump campaign, Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz in December uncovered at least 17 “significant errors and omissions” in the proceedings.
Durham has been under pressure, given the expectation his investigation could be the start of legal proceedings against those responsible for any irregularities in the process opened by the alleged collusion with Russia, which for some was espionage.
Some indications suggest that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former President Obama, and other members of the Democratic National Committee could be severely compromised by the federal crimes that could be configured in this case.
Judicial Watch (JW) revealed that it received emails from the FBI alluding to a White House “confidential informant” related to Russia’s fake collusion. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton stated that “Comey’s FBI targeted Trump as soon as he set foot in the Oval Office,” in a video released on July 17. That investigation has been labeled by some as an attempted coup and is part of the resources used by Democrats to displace the White House incumbent.
House Minority Leader Rep.Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said on Fox News that the maneuvers employed by FBI officials to topple President Trump are the closest thing to a coup attempt in the country’s history.
