The White House on Thursday, Oct. 31, shared photos of the 2019 Halloween event that President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump hosted on the South Lawn.

This is the third season the president’s family has held their Halloween at the White House.

President Trump and the first lady welcomed children of military families and elementary school students for Halloween trick-or-treat event.

The couple gave candy to the children who dressed as dinosaurs.

The children also dressed up as princesses, football players, police officials, astronauts, military officers, and pirates as they greeted the president and first lady.

A display of Black Forest trees wrapped around the columns of the South Portico. Pumpkins lined the staircases.

The first lady also retweeted a video from the White House showing the 2019 Halloween event on the South Lawn.

The White House has prepared for the Halloween celebration earlier this week and a lot of guests have come to enjoy and take photos.
