Tony Bobulinski, Hunter Biden’s business partner on Wednesday, Oct. 21, confirmed one of the emails published by the New York Post that exposed a culture of corruption surrounding the former vice president’s family.

Last week, the Post published a copy of an email dated May 13, 2017, detailing a discussion of “remuneration packages” for six people in a business deal with the now-bankrupt Chinese energy firm CEFC. Sources told Fox News that “the big guy” in the email refers to Joe Biden.

In a press statement released on Wednesday evening, Bobulinski confirmed the email’s authenticity and contradicted Democrats’ claims that the disclosure of those emails is part of a Russian disinformation campaign.

“My name is Tony Bobulinski. The facts set forth below are true and accurate; they are not any form of domestic or foreign disinformation. Any suggestion to the contrary is false and offensive. I am the recipient of the email published seven days ago by the New York Post, which showed a copy to Hunter Biden and Rob Walker. That email is genuine,” Bobulinski said, reported Breitbart News.

“What I am outlining is fact,” Bobulinski continued. “I know it is fact because I lived it. I am the CEO of Sinohawk Holdings, a partnership between the Chinese operating through CEFC/Chairman Ye and the Biden family. I was brought into the company to be the CEO by James Gilliar and Hunter Biden. The reference to ‘the Big Guy’ in the much-publicized May 13, 2017 email is, in fact, a reference to Joe Biden. The other ‘JB’ referenced in that email is Jim Biden, Joe’s brother.”

Bobulinski disputes Joe Biden’s claims that he never talks to his son about business dealings.

“I’ve seen firsthand that that’s not true because it wasn’t just Hunter’s business. They said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line,” Bobulinski said.

In his statement, Bobulinski said he comes from a military family with a tradition of serving in the U.S. Navy. He said he has no “political ax to grind” and has supported Democrat politicians over the years.

Bobulinski also railed against the mainstream media and big tech companies for suppressing the revelations about the Biden family. The Post is still locked out of its Twitter account since they published the story.

“If the media and big tech companies had done their jobs over the past several weeks, I would be irrelevant in this story,” he wrote.

“Given my long-standing service and devotion to this great country, I could no longer allow my family’s name to be associated or tied to Russian disinformation or implied lies and false narrative dominating the media right now.”

Bobulinski added that he is cooperating with an investigation into the issue led by U.S. Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI). Johnson last month released a report on conflict-of-interest concerns raised about the Biden family.

“The Johnson Report connected some dots in a way that shocked me—it made me realize the Bidens had gone behind my back and gotten paid millions of dollars by the Chinese, even though they told me they hadn’t and wouldn’t do that to their partners,” he said.

Bobulinski is not the first person in Hunter Biden’s orbit who flipped on him.

Bevan Cooney, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, also released a trove of emails detailing Hunter Biden cashing in on his father’s vice presidency.

Cooney was reportedly moved from his cell in a federal prison in Oregon on Tuesday, days after some of those emails were made public.
