Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) appeared on Fox News with host Hannity to explain how President Trump will be eligible for the third term.

“I’ll be on @seanhannity 2nite @FoxNews at 9 pm ET and will explain how @realDonaldTrump will be eligible for a 3rd term due to the illegal attempts by Comey, Dems, and media, et al attempting to oust him as @POTUS so that’s why I was named to head up the 2024 re-election,” Huckabee tweeted.

Huckabee also said he is honored to chair President Trump re-election campaign.

“Greatly honored to be asked to chair @realDonaldTrump re-election campaign for @POTUS in 2024. It gives me lots of time to plan! By then the Dems will no longer be a political party in America, replaced by the New Whig Party,” he tweeted.

President Trump previously teased about running for unlimited terms by posting a video showing his campaign on Time magazine cover.

The U.S. Constitution, 22nd Amendment, ratified in 1951, limits the number of times a person can be elected president to only two. Only President Franklin Roosevelt to serve more than twice, from 1929 to 1932 and 1933-1945.
