In reaction to the Democrat’s insistence on a federal, one-size-fits-all coronavirus mask mandate, Alaska’s Republican governor effectively ordered President Joe Biden to take a hike.

“No thanks, @POTUS—you can keep your mask mandate,” Mike Dunleavy tweeted late Monday evening. “We’ll keep doing it the #Alaska way: trust the people & let them live their lives.”

The governor was responding to Biden’s brief, scripted statements hours earlier, in which he asked “every governor, mayor, and local leader to maintain and reinstate the mask mandate.”

His one-size-fits-all mask mandate, according to Biden, is not political theater. No, he insisted, wearing face burqas to fight the coronavirus is a “patriotic duty” for all Americans.

“Please, this is not politics,” Biden announced. “Reinstate the mandate if you let it down. And business should require masks as well.”

Meanwhile, he allows hundreds of thousands of unvetted, unmasked undocumented immigrants from 49 nations to storm the border and live in the United States.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), who recently visited the Rio Grande, announced that refugees are testing positive for COVID-19 at a seven-fold higher rate than the United States’ general population.

Biden is doing little to stop the tide of illegal immigrants who are roaming free in border cities, terrorizing locals by robbing their homes and stealing their vehicles, let alone insisting they mask-up.

“Mask up. Mask up. It’s a patriotic duty,” that’s all Biden ordered.

Everyday life won’t return until everybody is masked, according to the Democrat.

“It’s the only way we ever get back to normal—to cheer together in stadiums full of fans; to gather together on holidays again safely; go to graduations, weddings,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Biden wears his mask like this.

Biden and other Democrats say that masks save lives, but they have never questioned the absence of masks at the various Black Lives Matter protests over the last year.

Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, a Republican, has blasted the left’s obsessive fascination with unscientific mask mandates, claiming that most Americans’ masks are as successful as wearing underwear on their faces.

COVID-19 infections peaked in areas with tight mask mandates around the nation, according to Paul, a physician.

“Every one of the mandates and you look in country after country, state after state—you look at when the mask mandates went in—the incidents went up exponentially after the mandates,” he stated in December.
