The former head of the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Dr. Scott Gottlieb, said that with the current knowledge of the spread of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Virus, it is no longer advisable to repeat the disastrous closures of activities already experienced by the nation.
“I think the idea that we’re going to do national stay at home orders—or even broad stay at home orders in select cities—it’s just not going to happen,” Gottlieb told CNBC in an Oct. 12 release.
“When history looks back at us, the critical flaw will be the fact that we were so blind to the spread in April and May,” he added.

One of the United States’ strengths now is the great capacity to test for CCP Virus infections.
During the last 30 days, an average of 907,000 tests was performed daily, greatly surpassing those performed in April, when they reached 177,400 per day.
“But right now, the tests are widely available throughout the United States. So why are hundreds of thousands of businesses and schools still closed?” Gottlieb asked.
“And why do large technology companies like Google continue to censor the Great Barrington Declaration?” he added.
Additionally, the writer under the pseudonym Tyler Durden at Zero Hedge suggested, “Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden needs to have a little talk with Dr. Gottlieb.” Durden was alluding to Biden’s statements, where he said he would not hesitate to close the country down again.
“I would close it down. I would listen to the scientists. According to an ABC News tweet, Joe Biden told host David Muir in an exclusive interview that, as president, he would close the country to stop the spread of COVID-19 if the scientists recommended the movement.

Gottlieb agrees with the WHO’s new directive that widespread closures to prevent the spread of the CCP Virus should now be avoided, contradicting their earlier recommendation. For months, it caused much unnecessary damage in several countries.
In this sense, the special envoy of the WHO, Dr. David Nabarro, said: “We really do appeal to all world leaders: stop using lockdown as your primary control method,” according to The Spectator of Oct. 9th.

Before the WHO said it, thousands of scientists and health specialists had already expressed it, through the Great Barrington Declaration.
According to this, among the damages caused by the mandatory confinement were: “lower rates of childhood vaccination, worsening results of cardiovascular diseases, less cancer screening and deterioration of mental health, leading to higher excess mortality in the years to come.
