The Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives called for the ‘criminal investigation’ of Republican lawmaker Paul Gosar of Arizona who released an anime video where some Republicans use magical powers and weapons to fight Democrats and their policies.

The video in question is an introduction to a popular cartoon called ‘Attack on the Titan’ in which the characters of good fly with swords and attack a monster, the Titan, who is coming to destroy the world.

Gosar edited the one-and-a-half-minute video where he put his face on the Capitol while music plays in Japanese.

Then images of the border appear, where immigrants are seen crossing the river to enter the United States. Then you see the face of what seems to be a member of the Honduran M-S13 murder gang and the words in English and the Japanese character for drugs, crime, poverty, money, murder, gangs, violence, and trafficking.

Immediately three superheroes appear flying, one is Gosar himself, and the other two have the faces of legislators Greene and Boebert.

As they fly through the city, the titan monster appears, which has the face of socialist legislator Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez whom the heroes hit with their guns.

At the end of the animé, the hero with the face of Gosar takes his two swords and appears to face the large face of President Biden.

At the end of the video appear the faces of Dr. Fauci, Pelosi, Biden, and border agents trying to stop illegal immigrants from entering the country.

“I will always fight for the rule of law, securing our borders and defending the America First agenda,” the lawmaker said in a statement to Reuters.

Gosar received heavy criticism from the mainstream media and had to delete the video from his Twitter account.

Nancy Pelosi condemned the post and called for a criminal investigation on Tuesday, Nov. 9.

“Threats of violence against Members of Congress and the President of the United States must not be tolerated. @GOPLeader should join in condemning this horrific video and call on the Ethics Committee and law enforcement to investigate,” the House speaker wrote.

But Gosar responded to the criticism by explaining that the nature of the video was parodic and representative of what his opposition as a Republican to Democratic policies implies.

“The cartoon depicts the symbolic nature of a battle between lawful and unlawful policies and in no way intended to be a targeted attack against Representative Cortez or Mr. Biden,” the Republican said.

“It is a symbolic cartoon. It is not real life. Congressman Gosar cannot fly. The hero of the cartoon goes after the monster, the policy monster of open borders,” he added.

Arizona, along with Texas, is one of the states most affected by illegal immigration as the first point of entry from the southern border.

Gosar is also a fervent supporter of former President Donald Trump.

According to the New York Post, Gosar explained that “The depiction of Mr. Biden pertains to his administration’s decision to leave the border open while illegal aliens invade from all points,” and later referred to the illegal immigration as a “plague.”

According to Piers Morgan, a British commentator writing for the Daily Mail, Donald Trump was the U.S. president who received the most death threats during his administration. He feared he would be the fifth American president actually to be assassinated.

From Madonna and Johnny Depp who spoke publicly of assassinating or blowing up the White House, to the infamous Kathy Griffin who appeared with Trump’s bloody head at an ‘art’ show, dozens of Hollywood personalities ‘fantasized’ about killing the former president and even appeared in the mainstream media with little or no public condemnation.
