Five-year-old Bentley Hayden, who bravely fought a third battle with cancer, died on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
“Bentley took his last breath at 3:47 p.m. with everyone here. He is in heaven pain free now. Although he is physically here still with us,” his family shared updates with his supporters on the Bentley’s Battle Facebook page.
Bentley, from Lancaster, was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma at the age of 2.
Bentley’s cancer went into remission, only to return, then remission again and then a final return.
“Thank you everyone for the unconditional love support and prayers,” Bentley’s family wrote. “Every time you see the moon please say hello to him.”
