America’s expert on infectious disease said the recent George Floyd protests provide the “perfect recipe” for a second wave of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Virus (also called coronavirus).

Dr. Anthony Fauci said it is not looking good and has called the virus his “worst nightmare,” warning the fight to defeat it is far from over.

The massive protests and riots of the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, combined with the gradual reopening of the United States from lockdown is something likely to set off a second round of the virus.

“In a period of four months, it has devastated the whole world,” Fauci said during a virtual appearance at a conference on June 9, held by the Biotechnology Innovation Organization. “And it isn’t over yet.”

Fauci concedes there is still a lot to learn about the virus, and it is much more complex than HIV—the virus he spent his career studying, as there are many degrees of seriousness to it, from asymptomatic carriers to those who develop serious symptoms leading to death.
“Oh my goodness,” Fauci said according to Fox News. “Where is it going to end? We’re still at the beginning of really understanding.”

Fauci believes a vaccine will be the only way to prevent the CCP from continuing to infect the world, and he has confidence an antidote will be discovered.

“I’m very heartened by the fact that the industry has stepped to the plate—very much differently than what we saw with SARS,” Fauci said. “The industry is not stupid—they figured it out. SARS had a degree of transmissibility that it burned itself out with pure public health measures. No way is that going to happen with this virus.”

Fauci continued that he anticipates “more than one winner in the vaccine field because we will need vaccines for the entire world—billions and billions of doses.”
