As the entire country waits for the results of the Tuesday, Jan. 5, Senate elections in Georgia, Rep. Chris Pappas (D-N.H.) posted on his Twitter account a list of left-leaning laws the Democrats would like if they gain control of the Senate. The progressive agenda could easily be carried out and chaos could be total.
Pappas dreams of victory in Georgia and anticipates imposing a communist agenda by implementing a series of progressive laws that he advanced in a Twitter message.
“Changing the Senate would be huge to get votes on popular bills blocked by Mitch McConnell: $2k checks, Equality Act, Dream Act, Infrastructure, Voting Rights Act, State and Local Funding, Climate Action and the list goes on and on. America needs this,” were Pappas’s words.
Flipping the Senate would be huge to get votes on popular bills blocked by Mitch McConnell:
🔹 Equality Act
🔹 Dream Act
🔹 Voting Rights Act
🔹 State and local funding
🔹 Climate action
… the list goes on, and on, and on. America needs this.

As can be seen, all proposals involve strong state intervention and enormous public expenditure. The only way to deal with it is through taxes. Of course, that part was not told by the Democratic congressman. To enable the federal or state government to afford a significant increase in spending, it must raise taxes on its citizens—employers and workers alike. There is no other method.
Pappas also blamed the Republican members of the Senate for hindering efforts to achieve these goals over the past few years. The situation would change dramatically if the Democrats win a majority in the Georgia elections.
Should Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock win their races against incumbent Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, the Democrats and Republicans will each have 50 seats, in which case the Senate president (vice president) would have to break the tie, depending on what happens today with the certification of votes and who will ultimately be the president.
The only hope to avoid total chaos is that Perdue and Loeffler keep their seats in the Senate and of course, the ideal situation would be that President Trump keeps his position in the White House as most Americans expressed with their vote.
The worst case scenario would be that Democrats Ossoff and Warnock win in Georgia, and that Republicans fail to cancel vote certification and thus Biden takes over the presidency. Such a situation would give the Democrats a majority in the House and the power of the White House. The consequences are unimaginable.
