The successful American ‘pop’ star Demi Lovato, 29, recounted an extraordinary experience with what could have been a UFO in a California desert.
“I just have a curiosity about this subject that I’ve always had, so I wanted to find out for myself,” explained the singer in an interview with E! News “Daily Pop” on Sept. 27.
Last October, during her visit to Joshua Tree National Park, located in a desert area of California, where she traveled with Matthew Scott Montgomery and her sister Dallas, Lovato experienced the events she describes.
“We went to the desert in Joshua Tree and I basically saw this blue orb that was about 50 feet away, maybe less, and it was kind of hovering above the ground, like 10 or 15 feet away, and it was kind of keeping its distance from me,” Demi noted. “It was a beautiful, incredible experience.”
She added, “We laughed a lot and saw some really cool things that we caught on camera.” However, Demi did not document an encounter with extraterrestrial creatures on this occasion.
“Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence,” Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson said in a recent interview on WKRN when asked about Lovato’s claims.
“I’m not claiming that I can explain everything. I’m just simply asserting that if you want me and many of my scientific colleagues to believe that we are being visited by intelligent aliens from another galaxy or another planet, we need better evidence than what is put forth,” the scientist said.
On the other hand, the successful singer has also shared the difficulties she has experienced because of drugs such as cocaine since the age of 17. In July 2018, she suffered an overdose that forced her to stay several days in the hospital before entering treatment later that summer.
In August of that year, she told her Instagram followers, “I’ve always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I’ve learned is that this disease is not something that goes away or fades with time.”
The UFO phenomenon has gained a lot of relevance lately, to the extent that several governments have declassified much of the voluminous information describing the numerous cases attributed to abnormal, possibly extraterrestrial causes.
In this regard, former U.S. Navy lieutenant and ex-pilot Ryan Graves related that he saw strange spacecraft, UFOs, with unique capabilities during his flights almost every day since 2019. He considers them a threat to human security.
Graves specified that he had seen these objects mainly over restricted airspace off the Virginia coast. They were similar to those that the Pentagon confirmed as real recently, according to the interview granted to CBS’ “60 Minutes” program, cited by Fox News on May 15.
“I am worried, frankly. You know, if these were tactical jets from another country that were hanging out up there, it would be a massive issue,” Graves said.
He added: “But because it looks slightly different, we’re not willing to actually look at the problem in the face. We’re happy to just ignore the fact that these are out there, watching us every day.”
Another documented case is that of Leroy Gordon “Gordo” Cooper, Jr., one of the original seven astronauts in America’s first manned space program, “Project Mercury”…. He is another astronaut who claims to have seen a real UFO.
Cooper was part of a select group of test pilots at Edwards Air Force Base in California in 1957 when he first saw the strange object, Humansarefree reported.
Cooper states, “I had a camera crew filming the installation when they spotted a saucer. They filmed it as it flew overhead, then hovered, extended three legs as landing gear, and slowly came down to land on a dry lake bed!.”
He added: “These guys were all pro cameramen, so the picture quality was very good. The camera crew managed to get within 20 or 30 yards of it, filming all the time.”
“It was a classic saucer, shiny silver and smooth, about 30 feet across. It was pretty clear it was an alien craft. As they approached closer it took off.”
Cooper says that when the camera crew handed him the footage, he followed the usual procedures and forwarded it to Washington, where he reported contact with the UFO.
