Texas Congressman and former White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson took the stage at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority Conference in Orlando, Florida, Friday, June 18, to encourage conservatives to speak out about their values and warn that America is heading toward socialism, Life Site News reported.
“We are headed to a socialist, Marxist existence in this country. They are tearing down everything this country represents. They want to burn it to the ground and rebuild it. And they’re doing it at warp speed,” Dr. Jackson said.
He also expressed that he is often approached by people asking what they can do to fight the radical agenda of leftist politicians. He said he is hesitant to tell people to show up in large numbers and vote because that is what was done in 2020 and the election is still lost and unresolved. However, he emphasized that it is important to keep fighting.
The congressman said that federal offices and elections are not the only opportunities where it is worth noticing and asserting your opinion.
“In addition to getting out in big numbers, the one thing I can tell you is going to make a big difference in this county: you’ve got to pay attention to all these down-ballot issues too. School boards, and mayors and judges,” Jackson said.
“For a long time the Democrats have been working to overthrow this country,” Jackson argued. “Look what they’ve done to our educational system. They have spent decades brainwashing our children,” he added.
The congressman noted that radical ideologies have long been promoted on college campuses, but that indoctrination now begins in elementary schools and even preschool.
“The way we stop this,” he said, “is we get out and we talk about it.”
Jackson also encouraged conservatives to be outspoken about their views by discussing them with friends, neighbors, and family. According to Jackson, generating public outcry about radical leftist ideology can prevent destructive bills from passing.
“They have the most radical, unbelievable, disgusting policies you can imagine,” Jackson said, adding that extreme policies are often expressed in bills that are given “some cute name,” a euphemism to hide the true nature of the proposal.
“We’ve proven that we can make a difference,” Jackson said, “by just getting out and talking about the garbage that’s going on.”
Dr. Jackson concluded by thanking conference participants, calling them “true patriots” who are “on the front lines trying to take back the country.”
The congressman, who served as White House physician for Presidents George Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump, told the conservative conference audience that being Trump’s personal physician was “simply the best job I’ve ever had.”
Dr. Jackson made headlines recently after he and 13 Republican colleagues released a letter urging President Biden to take a cognitive test to prove his mental aptitude for the position.
