Secret recordings captured by an alleged “whistleblower” in CNN expose the network’s bias against President Trump.
President of CNN, Jeff Zucker, is heard instructing top executives to focus on impeachment, even at the cost of other critical news issues, reports Fox News.
James O’Keefe, the founder of Project Veritas, a conservative whistleblower watchdog group, published the first bombshell footage online on Monday, Oct. 14. There will be more videos following.
The breaking video features “whistleblower” Cary Poarch, who was a satellite uplink technician at CNN’s Washington Bureau. What began for Poarch as the ideal job, quickly turned into a nightmare when he realized the anti-Trump propaganda they were pushing out.
“It’s basically me wanting the news to be what they used to be—news—and not infotainment or a game show or chasing the ratings,” Poarch told O’Keefe. “CNN purports it to be facts first, and that’s clearly not the case.
“I noticed after… that there was a strong group-think that permeated through the halls and that everyone was onboard the ‘I hate Trump Train.'”
In the video, a man identified as Zucker can be heard saying, “I don’t care about the MSNBC event, OK? I don’t care about them. Let’s just stay very focused on impeachment,” in the recording, reported Fox News. “We shouldn’t just pretend, oh, this is going one way. And so all of these moves are toward impeachment.”
According to Project Veritas, Poarch told them Zucker spoke daily to top CNN executives, including Senior Vice President of Newsgathering Virginia Moseley and political Director David Chalian.
“I decided to wear a hidden camera … to expose the bias running rampant,” said Poarch, who spent several months recording secret footage.
Daily recording shows Zucker instructed his employees to focus on the president and impeachment. “I want to stay with this, our top, top – our own reporters, our own political analysts, the top, the top [unintelligible] we have. OK, so make sure we’re doing that. All these moves are moves towards impeachment. So, don’t – don’t lose sight of what the biggest story is.”
Zucker is also allegedly heard giving instructions to call-out Lindsey Graham, “Yeah, so I just want to say on the Lindsey Graham front, I know that there’s a lot of people at CNN that are friendly with Lindsey Graham. It’s time to knock that off, and it’s time to call him out.”
One man, allegedly CNN media coordinator Nick Neville was also secretly recorded.
“Jeff Zucker, basically the president of CNN, has a personal vendetta against Trump … it’s not gonna be positive for Trump. [Zucker] hates him. He’s going to be negative,” the person identified as Neville said in the highly edited video.
The same person also said that many CNN employees want to err on the side of “journalistic integrity” but “big boss” Zucker “[expletive] tell you what to do.” “You have to like… to a certain extent, you have to follow his verdict,” the man said. “He’s like had an on-going feud with Trump… he’s had an on-going feud with Trump since ‘The Apprentice.'” reports Fox News.
