A House of Representatives resolution condemned the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for “100 years of gross human rights violations” committed against its people.

“For the last century, the Chinese Communist Party has repeatedly violated basic human rights and brutalized its own citizens. The story of the Party is one of repression, torture, mass imprisonment, and genocide,” noted Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wisconsin, according to the Washington Examiner, June 25.

He added, “This centenary is not a cause for celebration—it is a time to reflect upon the egregious acts the Party has committed and honor the tens of millions of victims who suffered under the Party’s cruel regime.”

Gallagher is the resolution’s sponsor, which is being passed just as the regime’s leaders prepare to celebrate their party’s 100th anniversary on July first. They are releasing their newly revised version of the Brief History of the CCP.

This version “skips over the tens of millions who died during the Great Leap Forward, ignores the failures of the ruling party, attacks the Tiananmen Square protests as backed by foreign foes,” writes reporter Jerry Dunleavy.

However, the bipartisan resolution mentioned above recalls many other blatant human rights crimes committed by the CCP during its existence.

Among them, the CCP’s “widespread campaign to eliminate the practice of the Falun Gong religious movement both within China and around the globe” and that the regime “has cracked down on the practice of Christianity, forcing churches to remove their steeples, and persecuting practitioners and forcing house churches to shut their doors.”

Falun Dafa—also known as Falun Gong—is a spiritual discipline of the Buddha School that teaches Truth, Benevolence, and Tolerance to improve health, elevate moral character, and attain spiritual wisdom.

Since 1999, on the orders of former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin, Falun Dafa practitioners have been persecuted, harassed, and illegally detained and tortured by officials in every Chinese province, including becoming victims of organ harvesting.

Worse, it is not just past abuse, the CCP “has committed grotesque human rights abuses against Uighurs and other ethnic minorities in Xinjiang, and estimates state that over one million Uighurs have been refined to ‘re-education’ camps and forced to give up traditional religious and cultural practices,” the resolution also denounces.

The CCP has been declared the greatest threat to the United States and the rest of the world. Many indications point to its culpability in creating and spreading the disastrous CCP Virus (Covid) that continues to cause millions of deaths incalculable economic damage around the world.

For his part, U.S. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) recalls this situation in one of his tweets. He added a video clip expressing that the regime will be held accountable for the terrible consequences of the pandemic.

“China lied. Millions died. President Biden and the Democrats refuse to hold the Chinese Communist Party accountable for its COVID cover-up, but Republicans are not afraid to stand up to China and put America FIRST,” he wrote.
