President Donald Trump met with 27 victims of religious persecution at the White House on Wednesday, July 17. This was a part of a religious freedom event, the Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom, hosted by Department of State.

Zhang Yuhua, a Falun Gong practitioner, was among the 27 survivors of religious persecution from 17 countries, who met with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office at White House on July 17, 2019.

This is the first time that President Trump officially met with a Falun Gong practitioner at the White House since he took office in 2017.

While at the Oval Office, Zhang told the president that her husband, also a Falun Gong practitioner, is still imprisoned in Suzhou Prison in Jiangsu Province, China.

“Forced organ harvesting still exists, so we should take action,” Zhang told President Trump “Words don’t work.”||77f57399c__

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Thursday said at the event that the Chinese Communist regime was responsible for the “stain of the century” of human rights abuses, citing mass detentions of Muslims and other minorities.

China is “home to one of the worst human rights crises of our time,” Pompeo said.

He also accused China of intimidating countries into staying away from the gathering.

“The Chinese Communist Party demands control over the lives of the Chinese people and their souls. Chinese government officials have even discouraged other countries from attending this very gathering. Is that consistent with the guarantee of “freedom of religious belief” that is found in the Chinese Constitution? If you’re here today and you’re a country, which has defied the Chinese pressure to come here, we salute you and we thank you,” Pompeo said.

In his speech at the event, Pompeo mentioned a Falun Gong case, saying, “In September of last year, Chen Huixia, a member of Falun Gong, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison simply for practicing his faith.”

July 20, 2019, marks 20 years of brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist regime.

Falun Gong, an ancient meditation practice brought to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in China and taught free of charge, had an estimated 70 million to 100 million followers in China before 1999, according to the Falun Dafa Information Center. The communist regime began its crackdown of the practice on July 20, 1999, almost 20 years to the day of the historic meeting of the victims of religious persecution with President Trump at the White House.

The Chinese communist regime has long been accused of killing numerous innocent Falun Gong practitioners to harvest their organs for transplant.

On June 17, China Tribunal, an independent tribunal, which has been investigating “forced organ harvesting” from Chinese prisoners of conscience, including innocent Falun Gong practitioners and Uighur Muslims, published its final judgment.

“Commission of Crimes Against Humanity against the Falun Gong and Uighurs has been proved beyond reasonable doubt,” the report said.

The China Tribunal concluded, “Forced organ harvesting has been committed for years throughout China on a significant scale and that Falun Gong practitioners have been one—and probably the main—source of organ supply.”

“Forced organ harvesting has been committed for years throughout China on a significant scale, [and] the tribunal has had no evidence that the significant infrastructure associated with China’s transplantation industry has been dismantled and absent a satisfactory explanation as to the source of readily available organs concludes that forced organ harvesting continues till today.”

According to a report,“Bloody Harvest/The Slaughter: An Update” in 2016 by Former Canadian Secretary of State for Asia-Pacific David Kilgour, lawyer David Matas, and journalist Ethan Gutmann, showed that the Chinese Communist regime is performing 60,000 to 100,000 transplants each year as opposed to 10,000 each year that the Chinese regime claim. The researchers conclude that prisoners of conscience, mostly innocent Falun Gong practitioners, are the source.

They concluded, “The ultimate conclusion is that the Communist Party of China has engaged the state in the mass killings of innocents … in order to obtain organs for transplants.”

In June 2016 the U.S. Congress passed Resolution 343, expressing concerns over state-sanctioned organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China.||4bfc1ff57__
