Sesame Street, an iconic children’s show, aired its “Family Day” episode last week with two gay parents as the “parents of the family.” The provocative decision by the show’s producers came during LGTBQ Pride month, a month in which children’s programming was loaded with a lot of pro-gay ideological content that was criticized by conservative sectors.

During the episode, which features explicit LGBT content aimed at children of all ages, including babies, Sesame Street character Nina introduces her brother and husband, as well as their daughter, to Elmo and his friends as they celebrate “Family Day.”

“Okay, everybody—I want you to meet my brother Dave, his husband, Frank, and my sobrina, Mia, my niece,” Nina says as she introduces them to the other characters.

The Sesame Street episode starring the gay parents comes during Pride Month, which actor and producer Alan Muraoka, known as Alan on the show, acknowledged in a Facebook post.

In his post, he expressed his pride in hosting the controversial show in question. “I am so honored and humbled to have co-directed this important and milestone episode.” The actor added. “Love is love, and we are so happy to add this special family to our Sesame family. Happy Pride to all!!!!” Muraoka openly stated.

In the episode, Big Bird can be seen worried that his grandmother won’t make it to his party. He is then seen surprised and happy for his own Sesame Street family, which includes Frank, Dave, Mia and more. During the episode, Frank explains, “there’s all kinds of different families, but what makes us a family is that we love each other.”

While Sesame Street has featured LGBTQ content in the past, the recent episode marks the first time the show has featured a family-like Frank and Dave’s. In 2017, the show celebrated Father’s Day with an episode in which the narrator told viewers, “You may have a stepdad or even two dads.” And later that year, Sesame Street included a little girl and her two moms.

According to Breitbart, the leftist ideology on Sesame Street is not limited to LGBTQ content; in 2020, it aired a 30-minute special aimed at teaching children and families how to be “anti-racist,” another stronghold of the globalist left. According to reports, the special also sought to define “racism” for young audiences and urged children to report others when they suspect racist behavior.

As is well known, June is Gay Pride Month, a month where everything is dyed in LGBTQ colors and where children receive accelerated indoctrination about these dangerous progressive ideas.

And there is no better way to carry out this indoctrination than through channels with content for children, seeking to normalize these new sexual orientations that many believe are destroying the morality of humanity.
