Political commentator Candace Owens challenged a third-party Facebook fact-checker over a “false” rating and she won.
On Nov. 12, Owen post a video on social media with caption, “Joe Biden is literally and legally not the President-elect. So why is the media pretending he is.”
Facebook censored the video and said it was fact-checked by PolitiFact as “false.”
“Weeks ago, [Facebook] censored a post of mine, which truthfully stated that [Joe Biden] is NOT the President-elect. So I got lawyers involved,” Owens tweeted on Saturday, Nov. 28. “Conclusion? [PolitiFact] uncensored the post & admitted that they LIED by rating my post false. The fact-checkers are lying for Democrats.”
“At 8 Months pregnant, I unfortunately cannot fight on the ground alongside patriots like I am used to, but I am taking every measure to fight these communists in the court room,” she added. “It is my goal to expose these lying ‘fact-checkers’ one by one. Joe Biden is NOT the President-elect.”

Owens argued that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden was only named as the president-elect by media outlets, which are not authorized to name the president-elect.
PolitiFact issued a correction and removed the false rating.
“Correction: PolitiFact originally labeled this video false in our capacity as a third-party fact-checker for Facebook,” PolitiFact wrote on Facebook on Nov. 25. “On Nov. 20, an appeal to that decision was made on behalf of Ms. Owens. PolitiFact approved the appeal on Nov. 20, determined that a correction was appropriate, and removed the false rating.”
According to the Daily Wire, Owens is taking legal actions against fact-checkers from USA Today and Lead Stories.
“These people are sitting back thinking they’re the gods of tech; opinion-checkers, they’re censorship lords,” Owens said. “It is time to fact-check the fact-checkers.”
President Donald Trump on Thursday renewed call to remove Section 230, the provision within the Communications Decency Act aims at protecting social media platforms from liability for content published by third-party.
Twitter is sending out totally false “Trends” that have absolutely nothing to do with what is really trending in the world. They make it up, and only negative “stuff.” Same thing will happen to Twitter as is happening to @FoxNews daytime. Also, big Conservative discrimination!

Mainstream media outlets called Biden, and he declared himself, the winner of the 2020 election, however the president-elect will not officially be named until the Electoral College cast its votes on Dec. 14, once all states have officially certified their results.
President Donald Trump is currently challenging the election results and has filed several lawsuits in critical swing states in an effort to fight voter fraud.
