In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Duane Chapman, aka Dog the Bounty Hunter stated that he is the “closest” to catching fugitive Brian Laundrie.

“So I’m gonna tell you right now Laundrie, I’m gonna catch you,” confirming he has received thousands of calls.

In the meantime, Dog has been served with a $1.3million lawsuit accusing him of “racist and homophobic behavior” before and after filming his axed reality show Dog Unleashed.

The suit, worth up to $1.3 million, accuses Dog of breach of contract—and alleges Dog was fired from a canned TV show for “racist and homophobic comments.” and also carrying an illegal Taser while filming in Virginia.

Dog has strenuously denied the allegations.

Unleashed Entertainment confirmed that “Dog Unleashed” was canceled weeks before it was due to air on April 1.

“Actions taken by Mr. Chapman during the show’s production breach contractual agreements,” President and CEO Michael Donovan said at the time.

Chapman’s two daughters Cecily, 28, and her sister Bonnie, 22, have criticized their father, with Bonnie accusing him of being racist and homophobic and cheating on her mother.

In a lengthy Facebook post on Tuesday, Aug. 24, Bonnie said she was told by her father’s fiancée, Francie Frane, that she wasn’t invited to their wedding because of Bonnie’s “choice to participate in social justice and BLM protests with ‘The System’, and not condemn the streaming platform when they fired my father for using epithets.”

“I have expressed time and time again my ever-growing disappointment in my father’s progression into his old racist ways,” Bonnie’s post read. “I had forgiven my father after my mother’s death for countless actions that I shouldn’t have.”

Bonnie then accused Dog of betraying her mother, Beth Chapman, who died of cancer in June 2019.

“He would cheat on my mom all the time, and I hated him every time he did it, but I forgave him for that because I wanted a relationship with my dad,” adding, “I thought I had only one parent left. I was left with the racist and homophobic parents.”
