A boy and his mother at the center of an amber Aaert have been found dead Friday night, Aug. 23 in a parking garage, according to Waxahachie police.
The Amber Alert was issued for 6-year-old Phillip Oliver “Ollie” Wiedemann, who police said they suspected was in imminent danger.
The boy had been seen last at about 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, in Waxahachie.
When the Amber Alert was issued, Ollie was believed to be staying with his mother, Candace Harbin, who didn’t have custody of her son, police said.
Officials were called to the parking garage at around 6:30 p.m. Friday, where Ollie and his mother, 46-year-old Candace Rochelle Harbin, were both dead inside Harbin’s car.
Police have not released any further information about their causes of death.
