The body of a 2-year-old boy was recovered three days after a woman crashed into the Mississippi River last weekend, Tunica County authorities said Wednesday, Sept. 11.

Cortez Wilson was spotted by a helicopter, floating near Dundee, Mississippi, Sheriff K.C. Hamp said. The body of the toddler has been sent to the medical examiner’s office.

Cortez was the last of the three victims to be located.

Symphony Wilson, 29, of Tunica, Mississippi, the driver of the Chevrolet Suburban that lost control and went into the water Sunday, Sept. 8, was found Monday, Sept. 9.

Five-year-old Brenilah Moore was found Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 10.

Symphony was dropping off a family member to work at a casino prior to the crash, according to officials.

Authorities do not yet know what may have happened to cause Symphony to lose control of the SUV with two children inside.
