America’s public health research agency has caught a foreign dictatorship destroying vital information about the deadly disease.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) have found researchers linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) deliberately removed early data about the CCP Virus.

This disturbing revelation came on June 23, after Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center associate professor Jesse Bloom recovered hidden information from the genetic composition of early virus samples in Wuhan.

Records show the CCP’s researcher removed old data from the National Library of Medicine’s Sequence Read Archive to avoid “version control issues.” The sequence information was allegedly updated and submitted to another database.

“Submitting investigators hold the rights to their data and can request withdrawal of the data,” NIH said according to Bloomberg News. “NIH cannot speculate on motive beyond the investigator’s stated intentions.”

However, Bloom believes something sinister happened since the data contained information that many virologists would consider to be of great importance. He reached this conclusion in his report “Recovery of deleted deep sequencing data sheds more light on the early Wuhan SARS-CoV-2 epidemic.”

“Samples from early outpatients in Wuhan are a gold mine for anyone seeking to understand the spread of the virus,” he said in the report. “The fact that such an informative data set was deleted has implications beyond those gleaned directly from the recovered sequences.”

He also found no scientific reason for why the CCP’s researcher would suppress original data, and not offer it for international professionals to study. There were no corrections in the paper and sequencing showed no evidence of “plasmid or sample-to-sample contamination.”

“It clearly would have been more scientifically informative to fully sequence the samples rather than surreptitiously delete the partial sequences,” he said. “It therefore seems likely the sequences were deleted to obscure their existence.”

The NY Post speculated the data’s removal, and resulting acknowledgement from U.S. officials, suggests the CCP has not been entirely transparent about the pandemic’s origins.

“The communist nation has repeatedly hampered probes into the virus’s origins as more and more scientists and politicians rally behind the idea that a lab leak could be responsible for the global pandemic,” journalist Gabrielle Fonrouge reported.

In the absence of the missing data, the World Health Organization (WHO) previously dismissed theories that the CCP Virus was a biological experiment that leaked from a lab in Wuhan, the first Chinese city the outbreak heavily affected.

As previously reported by BL, WHO drew this conclusion despite “overwhelming” circumstantial evidence.

“This entire joint team study, in my view, is not credible or valid because they examined some hypotheses and not others, and then had the temerity to rank the likelihood of the different hypotheses,” WHO advisory committee member Jamie Metzl said at the time.

WHO also did not conduct the study in-house and instead relied on a joint study by an “independent advisory committee” plus “Chinese counterparts.”
