Barack Obama blamed “disaffection, racism, and misogyny” for the ISIS-inspired shooting in Boulder, and called for more gun control.
“It is long past time for those with the power to fight this epidemic of gun violence to do so,” Obama said in a statement. “It will take time to root out the disaffection, racism and misogyny that fuels so many of these senseless acts of violence.”
He went on to say, “It’s time for leaders everywhere to listen to the American people when they say enough is enough—because this is a normal we can no longer afford.”
Now we need to keep it up. Because until every single American has access to quality, affordable health care, we have more work to do—and I’m grateful to President Biden for continuing to lead the fight.

After a supermarket killing spree in Boulder, Colorado, the murderer was publicly named on Tuesday.
During a shooting spree at a King Sooper’s grocery store on Monday, 21-year-old Ahmad Al-Issa killed 10 people, including 51-year-old police officer Eric Talley.
Ten counts of first-degree murder were filed against Al-Issa.
The Boulder shooter was a Middle Eastern man, and the Atlanta shooter was a sex addict who targeted sex workers at massage parlors, but when have facts ever mattered to Obama or the left-wing media?
