At least six people were injured while other shoppers fled for safety after a shooting in a Pennsylvania mall on Sunday afternoon.

Before the shooting, several men were engaged in a scuffle inside Park City Centre, according to Lancaster City Police.

Three men and a woman were treated for non-life-threatening bullet wounds. While attempting to exit the scene, the other two received mild injuries.

Two suspects have been arrested, according to Lancaster Online.

It is reported that the gunshots were heard at the Park City Center in Lancaster at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 17.

The proprietor of the store said that an argument erupted between four people outside an international grocery store. Following a dispute, one man brandished a gun, knocked away by another who then opened fire.

“Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!,” two gunshots were audibly heard on a shaky Twitter video reportedly filmed inside the mall, and a horrified witness could be heard screaming.

A woman tumbled to the ground in a mall corridor as terrified shoppers rushed for safety in the video labeled “Shooting at our local mall today,” according to the New York Post.

A co-owner of the mall’s grocery store Tabarek Al-Hana named Hana Ali, said she heard five or six gunshots and saw one person hit in the leg and shoulder.

“Everything went so fast,” she recalled. “We were scared so we’re hiding behind my register.”

Manager Anthony Colon who was on duty at Rue 21, five stores away, said he froze when he heard two gunshots, according to the Complex.

After slamming the front gate, Colon led a dozen individuals inside to a storeroom. They gathered whatever they could find, such as hammers and screwdrivers, to use as weapons.

The shooting was “unfortunate” and “isolated,” according to Lindsay Kahn, a representative for Brookfield Property Partners, the mall’s owner.

According to authorities, the mall will stay closed until Monday, October 18, so the investigation can proceed.
