At least 34 people were shot, six fatally, over Labor Day Weekend 2019 in Democrat-controlled Chicago.

Around 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, a man “between 40 and 50 years old” was found dead after having been shot in the neck, the Times reported.

About 2:30 a.m. hours later, an altercation erupted between a man and a17-year-old girl while walking down the 900 block of West 52nd Street. The man then shot the teenager “three times in the head and multiple times in the upper body.”

Davantae would have started his freshman year at Marshall Metropolitan High School on Tuesday. The Austin community held a vigil to honor the teen on Monday.

Hours later, a 49-year-old man was shot multiples times in the head and once to the back in the city’s Austin neighborhood. He died at the scene.

Just a few hours into Monday morning, a 32-year-old was shot in the head while driving and died after crashing into a parked car.
