Amid the escalation of America’s immigration crisis, several murder incidents are recorded along the United States border, where professional-type weapons and methods were used the Daily Mail reported.
According to Texas law enforcement officials, many innocent people have become the drug cartels’ victims along the southern border’s United States side.
On Oct. 26, Lt. Chris Olivarez of the Texas Public Safety Department said that presumed members of Mexican cartels assassinated a woman. His department found that the woman probably suffered from being mutilated, raped, and tortured before her death.
Olivarez stated that these criminal gangs had committed several assassinations along the border, using professional-type weapons. Furthermore, these criminals conducted the individual murders in a highly professional and organized manner before returning to Mexico.
The cartels often use these murders as a method of sending messages to their rivals. However, the emergence of the bodies on the border’s U.S. side is something unusual, as Olivarez noted.
Texas Department of Public Safety, together with special operations officers and law enforcement as part of Governor Greg Abbott’s Operation Lone Star, are cooperating to reduce the heat of the border crisis.
There have been 1800 arrests for attempting to flee from law enforcement. However, the Daily Mail reported the number accounts for a fraction of those who have escaped arrest.
On Wednesday evening, Governor Greg Abbott publicly complained about President Joe Biden’s ignorance of rising issues, contrasting with the President’s concerning attitude for the refugee crisis along the Belarusian-Polish border in Eastern Europe.
Abbott also blamed Joe Biden’s opening border policies, called reckless policies, for causing the ongoing crisis along our southern border, leading to the highest number of illegal immigrants getting into Texas for 61 years.
Amid growing concern over the COVID-19 spread, the shocking number of migrants frightens more state and local officials who are desperate for the Biden administration’s support.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced the 12 months ending in October has revealed nearly 1.7 million people were caught trying to cross into the U.S. at the Southwest border.
According to Abbott’s press secretary, Texas would continue preserving the southern border and protecting Texans without assistance from the federal government.
The secretary also confirmed that in the efforts to decrease the number of illegal migrants from over 150 countries around the world, there had been over 76,000 migrants apprehended and 8,800 arrested who conducted a state or federal crime, including smugglers and human traffickers since Governor Abbott launched Operation Lone Star in March.
