Republican official Kimberly Klacik on Saturday, July 27, ignited a nationwide turmoil when she showed poor living conditions in Baltimore and accused Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), of focusing on the conditions of illegal aliens at the U.S.-Mexico border over those of his own district.

In a series of tweets, Klacik highlighted the filthy conditions throughout Baltimore with abandoned homes filled with trash and suggested that the Democratic lawmaker could “help and listen to one of his constituents explain the ‘rats & rodents’ problem.”

Baltimore residents in respond to Klacik’s tweets have backed her up and encouraged her to continue to tell the truth. Many have condemned Cummings for “doing nothing” for his district.

Michelle, a Baltimore resident said in an interview, “He hasn’t done anything for us. He’s worried more about caring for illegal aliens at the border than his own people.”

Another said, “Elijah Cummings does nothing for his district, vote him out 36 years is enough he’s so upset about illegals never said a word when Obama built the cages.”

Others expressed their concern of Democrats replacing American citizens with illegal aliens, saying, “We need to start calling out politicians that are neglecting their constituents. This fake empathy is on full display by the left and neglects to address their own issues within their communities.”

President Donald Trump sided with Baltimore residents and accused the Maryland representative of doing “NOTHING for his very poor, very dangerous and very badly run district!”

Mainstream medias, Democrats and would-be presidential rivals immediately painted the president as a racist while denigrating a majority-black district represented by a proponent lawmaker Elijah Cummings, one of harsh critics of the president’s immigration policies.

But the truth cannot be hidden, Baltimore resident Michelle responded to CNN’s Victor Blackwell suggesting President Trump was racist, “Trump is not racist … I’m glad he put Cummings on blast. The rats just didn’t come. These houses just didn’t get torn down, they’ve been like this.”

Fox New’s Todd Starnes said in a Fact Check, President Trump “is absolutely correct about Cummings’ congressional district. It really is a rat-infested, disgusting, dangerous city. And we have the evidence to prove his point.”
