Military veterans warn the nation is in serious and immediate danger, and America must do everything in its power to avoid disaster.
More than 120 retired generals and admirals have declared an ideological war between constitutional freedom and liberty versus socialism and marxism.
“Our nation is in deep peril,” they said in an open letter shared on Scribd. “We are in a fight for our survival as a constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776.”
The veterans accused President Joe Biden and his administration of steering the nation towards overthrowing capitalism and becoming more like a communist state.
“Under a Democrat Congress and the current administration, our country has taken a hard-left turn toward socialism and a marxist form of tyrannical government,” they said.
Some of the many examples of socialist politics include a lack of “fair and honest” elections that reflect the “will of the people,” and demonizing tougher election integrity regulations as “racist.”
“Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the ‘will of the people’ our constitutional Republic is lost,” the former officers said. “Using racial terms to suppress proof of eligibility is itself a tyrannical intimidation tactic.”
They also accused the Democratic Party of deliberately allowing the United States to descend into chaos because of inadequate border security precautions.
“Open borders jeopardize national security by increasing human trafficking, drug cartels, terrorists entry, health/CV19 dangers, and humanitarian crises,” they said. “We must reestablish border controls and continue building the wall while supporting our dedicated border control personnel. Sovereign nations must have controlled borders.”
The veterans described the Biden administration’s Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Virus restrictions as clear examples of regulatory overreach. They were also unimpressed by President Biden using the Oval Office to reverse policies championed by former President Donald Trump.
“Moreover, population control actions such as excessive lockdowns, school and business closures, and most alarming, censorship of written and verbal expression are all direct assaults on our fundamental rights,” they said. “The current administration has launched a full-blown assault on our constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 executive orders quickly signed, many reversing the previous administration’s effective policies.”
They also consider the CCP to be America’s “greatest external threat” that should be economically isolated without haste.
“Establishing cooperative relations with the CCP emboldens them to continue progress toward world domination, militarily, economically, politically, and technologically,” they said. “We must impose more sanctions and restrictions to impede their world domination goal and protect America’s interests.”
The generals and admirals urged every concerned citizen to vote out lawmakers who try to replace capitalism with a ‘nanny state.’
“We urge all citizens to get involved now at the local, state and/or national level to elect political representatives who will act to save America, our constitutional Republic, and hold those currently in office accountable,” they said.
“We must support and hold accountable politicians who will act to counter socialism, marxism and progressivism, support our constitutional Republic, and insist on fiscally responsible governing while focusing on all Americans, especially the middle class–not special interest or extremist groups, which are used to divide us into warring factions,” they added.
They believe a new administration should be quickly sworn in because President Biden is no longer fit to lead the nation.
“The mental and physical condition of the commander in chief cannot be ignored,” they said. “Recent Democrat leadership’s inquiries about nuclear code procedures sends a dangerous national security signal to nuclear armed adversaries, raising the question about who is in charge–we must always have an unquestionable chain of command.”
Some of the many signatories include retired Army Brigadier Gen. Donald Bolduc, who is running for the U.S. Senate seat in New Hampshire, and retired Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin, the executive vice president of the Family Research Council.
