Actor Jon Voight calls the attempt by Democratic lawmakers to remove President Donald Trump from office “an act of war” in a video posted on Twitter on Sept. 26.
“This is a war against the highest noble man who has defended our country and has made us great and safe again,” declared the Oscar winner in rejection of the action of the left.
He also invites his audience to stand with the president to support him as he himself is doing.
In his video Voight declares the Democrats’ attempt as a crime.
“This is a crime that the left ire trying to force. This is a disgrace by such ignorant followers that have not truth of what has really been brought back to our country,” Voight said, in addition to calling the left destructive and corrupt.
He also lists the benefits that the Trump administration has brought to the country such as jobs and greatness.
Voight alludes to the fear that drives leftist opponents.
“The left is afraid, because their power is diminishing with each deal that Donald Trump fulfills,” Voight added.
“In the name of God, and his power for this nation, let us stay strong and without such an evil among us,” he said. “God bless you.”
One of Voight’s viewers responded with emotion.
“Mr. Voight, you just brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for giving me hope on a day when I was so tired of fighting liberal lies. God bless America, our President and citizens like Mr. Voight. Fight to good, fight America,” he said in his tweet.
Voight made his video in the because of the attempts by Democrats to dismiss the American president.
Thus, the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), announced on Tuesday the beginning of an impeachment inquiry of President Trump for having allegedly pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a telephone call to harm a political rival, presidential candidate Joe Biden, something that the Ukrainian leader himself denies.
Former National Security Agency (NSA) intelligence chief Fred Fleitz suspects that the whole thing is a political setup, and he said so in an opinion piece published by the New York Post.
The measures announced by Pelosi have clashed with the rejection of many Democrats.
“Pelosi launched the Titanic tonight into a gigantic iceberg in November 2020,” Bryan Dean Wright, a former CIA agent and declared Democrat, said in an interview with Fox News.
Democratic Party presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), also criticized her fellow Democrats for pursuing impeachment of President Donald Trump.
