At least 7 people were wounded when someone opened fire at a 2-year-old’s birthday party in Prince George County, Maryland, Saturday night, Aug. 24.
According to Prince George’s County Police, the shooting occurred near the Camp Springs and Morningside areas. About a dozen people were at the birthday party when someone started shooting.
There may have been an argument before the shots were fired, police said.
Seven people, who were all between 18 and 20 years old, were shot, three with serious injuries but they were all expected to survive, Prince George’s County Police Chief Hank Stawinski said
Police are still looking for a suspect. No further information about the incident was provided.
