Six men believed to all be illegal aliens from Guatemala are in the Green Lake County jail in Wisconsin in connection with a sex trafficking case.
Law enforcement officials said they received a 911 call on Thanksgiving night from a girl, saying she just escaped from a residence where she was being sex trafficked, WBAY reported.
The girl then gave police information for a search warrant at a home on County Line Road in Manchester township.
That search warrant produced evidence believed to be connected to the sexual assault of the juvenile, the sheriff’s office said.
Six men living at the residence identified as Esler Hugo Rivera, 33, Rolando Corado Gonzalez, 28, Avelino Sarceno-Sarceno, 40, Ember Rivera, 37, Noe Bautista-Martinez, 28, and Evis Amabilio Garcia-Rivera, 31. They were all arrested on suspicion of second-degree sexual assault.
Garcia-Rivera was suspected of trafficking the runaway.
The suspects are being held on cash bonds ranging from $20,000 to $50,000.
