At least one woman, two men, and two children were killed in a multi-vehicle accident that took place on US-59 Southbound near Victoria, Texas this morning.

According to the Department of Public Safety, a van was attempting to get on the ramp when it was clipped by the 18-wheeler. The van was then sent over the median into oncoming traffic.

The van was then struck by a Ford-F150.

Everyone but the driver of the 18-wheeler suffered injuries, ABC13 reported

Authorities said five people including one woman, two men, and two children were killed were killed in the crash.

Seven people were transported to nearby hospitals and one was transported by LifeFlight to Memorial Hermann.
