YouTube took down a video by Dr. Michelle Cretella that discusses transgenderism, reported the Daily Signal.
In the video, the experienced physician explains that gender is not something to be assigned but rather biologically determined. For that, her video was flagged as hate speech.
Cretella is also the executive director of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and with her 20 years of experience in the field, she questioned the ideology of the supposed science of transgenderism stating, “Our bodies declare our sex. Biological sex is not assigned. Sex is determined at conception by our DNA and is stamped into every cell of our bodies.”
She argued, “There are at least 6,500 genetic differences between men and women.” And she she said that surgery and hormone cannot work to change it.
She cited an example to make her point clear saying, “If you want to cut off a leg or an arm, you’re mentally ill, but if you want to cut off healthy breasts or a penis, you’re ‘transgender.’”
Youtube flagged her sentence as hate speech and removed it.
According to Katrina Trinko, the Daily Signal ‘s editor in chief, the media has tried every which way to solve the problem with YouTube, but to no avail. YouTube still insisted on censoring the doctor’s words or removing the video from their platform.
The Daily Signal claimed that Crettella’s words, “which did not even state transgenderism was a result of mental illness, but simply pointed out that our culture sees amputation of body parts differently depending on the body parts in question,” thus no way does it violate the hate speech policy of YouTube.
The media stressed that parents should have all the information they need when it comes to such life-changing medical decisions for their children, and doctors should freely enter that discussion.
Cretella remarked that the promotion of transgenderism will cause harm to future generations of children—mentally, physically, and psychologically.
The story of the former transgender, Walt Heyer supports her statement.
The eight-year transgender regretted the sex change and returned to the gender he was born to and now warns of the tragic consequences of changing the sex of children, according to the video released by The Heritage Foundation on April 4.
He described the whole process as “destructive to the child’s psychology,” and that anxiety, bipolarity, and dissociative disorders, schizophrenia, and many other irregularities that require psychotherapy will follow suit.
In 2016, the American College of Pediatricians issued a statement condemning gender reclassification in children by stating that transgenderism in children is child abuse, reported the Bizpacreview.
