Police are looking for suspect who shot 21-year-old, Jasmine Ozuna, while she was driving in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Thursday night, Aug. 15, KIII 3 News reported.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and rushed her to Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital. Ozuna later died.

According to the Corpus Christi Police Department, Ozuna and a passenger were driving along Moody and Misty drives at around 9:30 p.m. when they heard gunshots and sped off. 

By the time they traveled a short distance, Ozuna noticed that she was in pain and realized she had been shot, according to KIII 3 News.

Abel Ozuna, Jasmine’s brother told KIII 3 News that his family is hoping that someone will speak up and help police find whoever is responsible.
