They say necessity is the mother of invention. And here is proof. A young girl with cerebral from Ithaca, New York invented wheelchair body coats. And she has been crowned Miss Wheelchair Michigan.

Since her interview with 13 ON YOUR SIDE  in 2018, Zoey Harrison has gone viral discussing her family’s invention of the X-Ability wheelchair body coats and sharing about having cerebral palsy.

This 10-year-old girl was invited to the Byron Center, in Michigan, to receive her newest honor yet, the crown and title of Miss Wheelchair Michigan on Nov. 9, WUSA9 reported.

Harrison will join Little Miss Wheelchair Michigan, Roslyn Breen, and Ms. Wheelchair Michigan, Laura Jackson, as the 2020 title-holder.

State coordinator for Ms. Wheelchair Michigan, Shelly Loose, said Harrison has had the title in mind since last December.

“I knew that she had the personality and I knew that she would enjoy and embrace it and do great things, I just see great things in Zoey’s future,” she said.
