A few days ago, a prosecutor in Yangshuo District, Guilin City, Guangxi Province, fell from the third floor after being surrounded by police while visiting with a prostitute. On the same day Xi Jinping joined a discussion with the Guangxi delegation to the CCP’s 20th National Congress, so local officials immediately blocked the news.
An internal notice from the Yangshuo District Public Security Bureau circulating on the internet said that, on the night of October 17, a prostitute appeared in the Caiyun Zhinam foot spa, Yangshuo town, Yangshuo district, so the town police came to investigate.
When the police arrived at the spa, they discovered that two rooms were locked on the third floor. Suddenly a person on the first floor exclaimed that a man was going to jump. The police then found the man jumping from the windowsill in room 302. In addition, a man and a woman in room 301 were arrested.
According to the notice, the man who jumped from the building was then taken to Yangshuo district hospital. At about 1:30 a.m. on October 18, the man died from his severe injuries. This person, surnamed Qin, was the assistant chief prosecutor of the third inspection team of the Yangshuo District Procuratorate.

The article reported that employees of the command center of the Yangshuo County Public Security Bureau, Guangxi Province said they were “unable to disclose” this news.
A spokesman for the Yangshuo District Procuratorate’s Office said, “I’m not sure about this. How can I know everyone in such a large unit? This is also not my responsibility, so it’s not convenient to answer you.”
An employee of the Guilin City Procuratorate Office said, “This is the first time I’ve heard of this, please verify this with the Yangshuo District Procuratorate.” When the reporter called the Propaganda Department of Guilin City Party Committee, they said that they were investigating the matter, please contact them later.
NetEase has now removed the post.
According to RFA‘s report on October 20, people familiar with the matter said that at present, only Qin, went to the spa called “Caiyun Zhinan.” He jumped off the building and was hospitalized with serious injuries, but died early in the morning on October 18.
People familiar with the matter said that the news came from the police. The reason the police are suddenly cracking down on the sex trade, and the details of the prosecutor’s jump are all secret. Some suspect that there may be a power struggle going on between the police, the prosecutor’s office and the judiciary.
A chief prosecutor from the Yangshuo District Procuratorate told RFA that Guangxi had been informed of the incident, and said that the Yangshuo Procuratorate system had issued a warning that the matter should not be discussed within the unit, let alone disclosed to the outside. The matter is currently being investigated by the police.
According to public information, Yangshuo is a district under the administration of Guilin City, Guangxi Province.
