The ATP Finals is moving to the Italian city of Turin in 2021.
A person with knowledge of the details confirmed the move to The Associated Press on Wednesday. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not yet authorized to discuss the situation publicly.
The ATP was expected to announce the move later Wednesday.
Turin will host the tennis event for five years through 2025, succeeding current host London.
Five cities bid for the event, including: London; Manchester, England; Singapore; Tokyo; and Turin.
Held each November, the ATP Finals is the season-ending event for the top eight men’s singles players and doubles teams.
