Lara Trump, President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law and campaign adviser, launched on Tuesday  “Women for Trump” coalition at Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia, Maryland, in support of President Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign.

“I always say that I think this president will easily be re-elected because he has delivered on all the promises he made in 2016 and so many more,” Lara Trump said, according to CBS.

“Despite the fact that he’s had constant, 93% negative media coverage by the way,” added Lara Trump.

Many of the women attending the event told reporters that they had never participated in political events before 2016, but now they are Trump’s advocates.

Many of them support President Trump in the face of accusations of racism and xenophobia made against him over the weekend in relation to four U.S. congresswomen.

“I don’t care what he has to say, I know what he means. I know what’s in his heart and he’s the best president in my lifetime,” said Anne Johnson, a Beach Haven resident, according to the same media.

“To me, he was directing his comments to their actions, their comments and actions, they’re just anti-American. They hate the country so much, get out. Nobody is forcing people to stay here,” said Annie Ritter, an Easton resident, according to CBS.

A very revealing piece of information provided by Trump’s campaign team on the evolution of the electorate shows a significant increase in female donors.

According to the CBS reporter, in 2016 only 25% of donors to Trump’s campaign were women, in 2019 that percentage has doubled to 50% in a record-breaking donation campaign.

“I felt we needed to save this country for our children, really being a mom, being afraid of what the future might be,” said Pricilla Confrey, a mother of two daughters, who drove from New Jersey to attend the event.
