Chinese authorities have sought to reap benefits from the CCP Virus outbreak by covering up virus data in a race for a cure while hoarding personal protective equipment (PPE) to trigger an artificial scarcity, according to the White House trade adviser Peter Navarro.
During an interview with FOX Business on Monday night, April 20, Navarro exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) lies about the CCP Virus, or coronavirus, saying he believes the regime has held back data of its virus patients because the regime wants to find a vaccine before the United States.
“One of the reasons they may not have let us in and give us data early is they’re racing to get a vaccine and this is a competitive business race so they can sell it to the world,” Navarro said, assuring that the United States will win the race.
Another reason the CCP delayed virus information, according to Navarro, is what it was doing with the PPE supply chain there.
“One of the things I find troubling about the whole thing besides spawning it, China (the CCP) vacuumed up all the PPE around the world while it was hiding the virus,” Navarro explained.
“I have evidence from the Chinese government (CCP) customs that shows in the months of January and February, they bought 18 times more the amount of masks alone,” Navarro added.
The CCP was “hoarding” all the PPE as the virus pandemic spread globally, Navarro said.
With the CCP Virus first emerging in Wuhan and the population of China is more than four times larger than the United States, yet the CCP has reported far fewer deaths: more than 4,600 versus more than 42,500 in the United States as of early Tuesday.
Underreporting death toll
President Trump has asserted that CCP Virus-related deaths are much higher in China than the communist government has reported as well as higher than the United States.
“China has just announced a doubling in the number of their deaths from the Invisible Enemy. It is far higher than that and far higher than the U.S., not even close!” President Trump tweeted on Friday, April 17, after the CCP raised the death toll in Wuhan by 50% from the previous figure.
According to data from the Worldometer website, the CCP has recorded only three deaths per 1 million of the population, compared to the U.S.’s 128 deaths per 1 million people.
According to New York Post, CCP data is widely considered unreliable due to pervasive underreporting by local officials fearful of punishment for recording accurate figures.
