President Trump criticized House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) following her “60 Minutes” interview with CBS’s Lesley Stahl on Sunday night.

“Such a ‘puff piece’ on Nancy Pelosi by @60Minutes, yet her leadership has passed no meaningful Legislation. All they do is Investigate, as it turns out, crimes that they instigated & committed. The Mueller No Collusion decision wasn’t even discussed-and she was a disaster at W.H.,” Trump tweeted.

In the interview, Nancy Pelosi said about President Trump: “I think our future…is…built on a strong foundation to withstand everything including the current occupant of the White House. I don’t think for two terms though.”

During Pelosi’s interview, she said that despite what she called Trump’s “assault on the Constitution,” she remained confident congressional Democrats could work with him.

President Trump and Nancy Pelosi are planning to meet in the near future to discuss a bipartisan infrastructure package. Democrat House is seeking President Trump’s support in coming weeks for legislation to invest up to $2 trillion to rebuild U.S. infrastructure, including roads, bridges and schools.

Earlier on the day, Pelosi delivered a statement that she has taken steps to ensure the safety of Rep. Ilhan Omar following President Donald Trump’s retweet of a video of the Minnesota Democrat.
