President Trump’s official campaign account, @TeamTrump, was again blocked by Twitter on Oct. 15 arguing the same reason it used to ban links to documentation published by the Post about connections between controversial Ukrainian gas company Burisma and Joe Biden when he was in government, using his position as vice president for personal gain.

News of the censorship against President Trump was first provided by his social media manager, Mike Hahn, who posted this morning on Twitter, “Twitter has suspended ⁦@TeamTrump for posting a video calling Joe Biden a liar who has been ripping off our country for years, as it relates to the ⁦@nypost article. 19 days out from the election.”

The only announcement that Twitter made regarding censorship was the one that Hahn published on his account. A small message stating that the tweet violates the platform’s rules against “publishing private information.”

The publication that caused the censorship is a small video that denounces the corruption of Joe Biden, following new evidence published by The Post that shows that in 2015 Hunter and Joe Biden, taking advantage of his position as vice president of the United States, pressured Ukrainian authorities to remove from office a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma, the gas company where Hunter worked in Ukraine.

The Post’s documents show several strong pieces of evidence about the links between the Biden family, Ukrainian politicians, and the directors of Burisma. They also contain compromising images and videos about Hunter Biden’s private life.

TeamTrump is the official Twitter account for Trump’s campaign. It has 2.2 million followers and plays a key role in disseminating campaign information on Twitter. Preventing him from continuing to publish is a big advantage that Twitter gives to Biden’s campaign, considering that there are only 19 days left until the election.

This is the latest in a series of censorship actions by Twitter and other large social networks against President Trump and conservative news media. According to Breitbart, yesterday Twitter also blocked the personal account of White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

Twitter is also tagging links posted on the House Judiciary Committee website related to the Bidens’ corruption story with Ukraine as “potentially unsafe.”
