Conservative American author Candace Owens is preparing to sue Facebook fact-checkers, who often censor the content of Facebook users.

As a first step, Owens is looking to contact prominent lawyers who will represent her in court, because she said the verifiers have demonized her account, according to The Daily Wire of Nov. 17.

“It is time to fact-check the fact-checkers,” Owens said in a video posted on Twitter. “I’m going to put these suckers through discovery and figure out what the relationship is that they have with Facebook,” she added.

“Guess what?! I am OFFICIALLY suing the “Fact-Checkers” who are really just activists,” Owens wrote in one of her tweets to which she attached a video of herself.

As an example, Owens reported that verifiers harassed her because of one of her Facebook messages, a quote that shared a doctor’s information about the CCP Virus, and so penalized her by demonetizing her messages.

“Quite literally a doctor gave his opinion about COVID-19, which I shared, and Facebook issued a strike on my account because they said only information that they agree with about COVID-19 … was acceptable,,” Owens said, according to Fox News.

She added, “I decided I was not going to give up and sit down,” was Owens’s warning. “The fact-checkers … they are activists for the Left that shut down your speech if they don’t like it,” she added.

Owens also noted that they threaten the rights of Americans and all users to free speech.

“Support our legal efforts today as we fight back against Facebook’s fact-checkers, confronting those who are suppressing free speech, thought, and expression across our great country,” she said.

In fact, the major social networks: Facebook and Twitter became a nightmare for those who share conservative views with their followers, or who stray from the policies of their owners.

There are many occasions when these giant social networks take on attributes that infringe on the freedoms of their users, without authority to do so.

In one of the most criticized recent cases they closed the New York Post account and censored the evidence that pointed to the apparent corruption of the Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, and his son Hunter.

No less fierce is Twitter’s pursuit of messages regarding the election fraud that muddies the U.S. electoral process.

Its very CEO, Jack Dorsey, revealed that in just two weeks, between Oct. 27 and Nov. 11, he had eliminated nearly 300,000 tweets about the elections. In addition to marking or eliminating some 50 comments by President Donald Trump.

Certainly, the network of verifiers that uses Facebook around the world arouses suspicion by checking who is participating in its financing, among them the financial magnate and speculator George Soros.

On the one hand, there is the apparently independent International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN), whose members determine which publications are reliable and which are not, according to RT.

The IFCN is part of the Poynter Institute for Media Studies and was created in 2015. In recent years it has received funding from Google, the MacArthur Foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Carnegie Foundation, the Open Society Foundations [George Soros], and the Omidyar Network, among others.

Facebook’s content in almost all parts of the world is verified under the strict supervision of the Poynter Institute, and must advance the selection process and meet the standards of “verification of veracity,” in addition to signing the code of principles of the IFCN, obtain certification and accept the reviews of the same institute.
