The suspicious actions of former National Intelligence Director Jim Clapper, CIA Director John Brennan, and FBI Director Jim Comey, possibly authorized by former President Obama and his advisers, would suggest a scandal that could well take the name “Obamagate.”
Former acting CIA director John McLaughlin expressed his gratitude to the deep state for the impeachment inquiry against President Trump: “Well, you know, thank God for the ‘deep state’,” McLaughlin said in response to CBS reporter Margaret Brennan’s intervention, quoted by Fox News.
Brennan had previously told him: “There is something unique you have to agree that now that the impeachment inquiry is underway, sparked by a complaint from someone within the intelligence community, it feeds the president’s concern, an often-used term about a ‘deep state’ being there to take him out,” quoted by Fox News.
These comments were made at an event organized by George Mason University, which was also attended by former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, and Brennan.
McLaughlin’s credibility was compromised by his support for his boss former CIA Director George Tenet in cases that led to the war against Iraq, and by statements by his friend and colleague CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell in which he spoke of President Trump as a Russian agent.
In 2016, the approach of a fictitious alliance between President Trump and Russia was tempting to get him out of the path of his opponent Hillary Clinton.
All the experience and power of state security agency officials would seem more than enough to plot the plot.
The specific case highlighted by Philip M. Giraldi, former CIA operations officer in Europe and the Middle East, veteran and he had his doctorate in European History is the action of the CIA’s Trump Task Force, created especially against President Trump, as described in his article published in the alternative media UNZ on Nov. 12.
In early 2016 Brennan organized the Trump Task Force, which supported the creation of President Donald Trump’s fictional collusion with Russia.
Brennan, along with Clapper, made up the alleged Russia’s interference in the 2016 elections, Giraldi said.
To catapult his thesis they promoted the publication of the report ” Intelligence Community Assessment” (ICA), from which media linked to the deep state took the version that President Putin had a plan to help President Trump.
Part of the campaign included spreading the word that the assessment had been composed with the intervention of the 17 intelligence agencies, as Hillary Clinton declared, but only the FBI, the CIA and the NSA intervened, Giraldi reported in his article.
The Trump Task Force was created with agents summoned by exclusive invitation, who had the order to collect information that implicate the president in the false accusation, for which they contacted their counterparts in Italy, Ukraine, and Australia.
They did not care about the legal implications of spying on a U.S. presidential candidate.
For Giraldi, it is possible that the whistleblower who gave rise to the controversial impeachment inquiry against President Trump may have been part of the same group or may have received special information from them.
“All the CIA and FBI officers involved in the Task Force had sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States, but nevertheless were involved in a conspiracy to first denigrate and then possibly bring down a legally elected president,” Giraldi writes in his article.
Another case in which former President Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and deep state are linked is the allegations made by former White House Secret Service agent Gary John Byrne, author of the bestseller “Secrets of the Secret Service,” in June 2018.
Byrne filed a complaint under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) to denounce what has come to be called the “Clinton Corruption Network,” which is part of the deep state.
In 2016, Byrne, after leaving office after protecting the Clinton family for eight years, declared that Hillary Clinton is an inept and irresponsible dictator, incapable of complying with security protocols, among many other things. “They hide and spin everything, and anything coming out of her mouth is a lie. They can’t even tell the truth when they can tell the truth. Her husband’s a good example,” he said.
Defendants include Clinton foundations and humanitarian organizations, George Soros, John Podesta, David Brock, Jan Gilhooly and Jonathan Wackrow—Secret Service partner and CNN analyst.
Former Utah member of the House Rep. Jason Chaffetz spoke of the corruption of the U.S. obstructionist bureaucracy in his book “The Deep State.”
In the book ” The Deep State: How an army of bureaucrats protected Barack Obama and is working to destroy Donald Trump,” Chaffetz wrote, “The Deep State is real,” adding: “They don’t like exposure, accountability, or responsibility.”
He added, “They fight back, outlast [in their posts], and work the system for their advantage. And they certainly don’t like disruptive forces such as [President] Donald Trump.
In the face of all this lies the big question: What did Obama know?
