Longtime televangelist Pat Robertson said on Tuesday, Oct. 20, that God told him President Donald Trump will win the 2020 election, and “then End Times prophecies will unfold.”

Robertson revealed in a monologue on “The 700 Club” that he asked God over the weekend to tell him “how it’s going to happen,” and he was told that President Trump will defeat Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden in the Nov. 3 election.

“Trump is going to win the election,” said Robertson, the 90-year-old founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network. “That doesn’t mean you sit home and don’t vote. That means you get out and do everything you can to work, but he’s going to win. That’s, I think, a given.”

In the monologue titled “Pat Robertson Prophecy: here’s who will win the election, then End Times prophecies will unfold,” the televangelist predicted that President Trump’s victory will prompt attacks against America from Democrats and Islamic nations, ushering in an era of civil unrest, assassination attempts, and a war led by Iran against Israel that will be “put down by God.”

“That’s what’s next: You will have Trump win, you will have civic discourse, you will have at least two attempts on the life of the president, and you just pray what’s going to happen in relation to that—but this country is going to be just torn apart,” he said.

Robertson then prophesied that the world will see “at least five years or more of extraordinary peace” before the asteroid.

“What I think very frankly is the only thing that will fulfill the word of Jesus … is some kind of asteroid strike on the globe,’’ he said. “It’s sudden destruction. It’s not going to be some nuclear war. We’re not going to be allowed to blow this earth up.’’

“Then, maybe the end,” Robertson said after describing the destruction the asteroid.

The prophecy came two weeks before the Election Day. The RealClearPolitics general election polling average shows that Biden is leading over President Trump.
